The El Diamante Video Production Team won Best of Show in the High School General Advertisement category at the 2025 Slick Rock Film Festival for their promotional video highlighting Visalia Technical Early College (VTEC).
The El Diamante Video Production Team has won Best of Show in the High School General Advertisement category at the Slick Rock Film Festival! Their winning entry was a promotional video for Visalia Technical Early College (VTEC), showcasing its career pathways and early college opportunities.
The Slick Rock Student Film Festival is Central California’s premier film competition for middle and high school students from Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, and Tulare counties. The festival is a program of the Tulare County Office of Education, with support from the Tulare County Suicide Prevention Task Force. It challenges students to meet professional standards in the technical aspects of film production.
This year’s awards ceremony took place at the Visalia Fox Theatre on May 9, 2025. More than 970 students from 49 schools submitted over 430 videos representing the creativity and talent of Central Valley youth.
Congratulations to our El Diamante winners, and thank you for your hard work and dedication to promoting the VTEC academic programs!
