Animal Science

Welcome to Animal Science at VTEC!
Are you passionate about animals and interested in a career working with them?
The Visalia Technical Early College (VTEC) High School Animal Science Pathway offers hands-on experience and foundational knowledge in animal care, veterinary science, and agricultural industries. This program is ideal for students who want to pursue careers in animal husbandry, veterinary technology, or wildlife conservation.
I love being able to have one-on-one close relationship with the teachers while being hands-on.Megan
VTEC teaches you responsibility –caring for animals, making sure they're healthy and well–fed. It's not just you; you're responsible for the animal, and it depends on you.Evynn
Personally, what I love about VTEC is how small the school is. It's very comfortable and welcoming. It's easy to make friends and get a lot of one-on-one academic support when you need it.Erica
